- Great fielding from Mark, Bicky, Levi and Emma, trying out different positions during the day
- Strong shortstop-first base combo from Kyle and Rebecca J
- Great cakes baked by Kenzie and Levi
- Coaching and organising by Ivette, Lewis and Norm (head coach for the day)
- Tournament MVPs: Chris and Emma
SBHs: Rebecca Preston, Emma Ballmann-Brown, Levi Chase, Rebecca Johnson, Kenzie Borowiec, Bicky Ho, (Ivette)
BBHs: Chris Lane, Mark Cooper, Kyle Webb, Tom Martin, Simon Texel, (Lewis)
Trash Pandas Takeover 23-24 May 2026
A very hot weekend (hottest ever May days on record) for Ox Factor. We temporarily changed our name to Trashbox Factor, because that’s what most of the other teams were doing (e.g. Thames Valley became Trashy Vermin, Raiders Silver became Bin Raiders etc…). After playing a team with several NSL players in it, we thought it was going to be a long weekend. But we did very well, losing in the ‘Leaky Bin’ final to a good BAM side. We won several matches over the weekend and took a trophy home.
SBHs: Rebecca Preston (Sat only), Emma Ballmann-Brown, Levi Chase, Elle McKenzie-Wills, Rebecca Johnson, Kenzie Borowiec, Rachael Sims (Sunday only)
BBHs: Prav Singh, Chris Lane, Mark Cooper, Kyle Webb, Torin Yellowlees-Bound, (Norm, Lewis)
- At least 6 of the team playing their first tournament at Farnham Park, including one game on the dirt infield
- Kenzie making a first ever catch
- Rebecca Preston’s pitching on the Saturday (could only do one day)
- Elle’s strong batting, including at least one home run
- Strong batting also from Levi and Prav
- More cake from Levi (although it was generally too hot for cake)
- Kyle putting the ball over the fences
- Becca getting ten stitches in a nasty chin gash – but coming back from the hospital to support on Sunday afternoon
- Coaching and organising by Lewis, Norm and Ivette (head coach for the day)
- MVPs (tricky after so many strong performances): Elle and Torin
The team at Trash Pandas Takeover (minus Rebecca Preston, who played on the Saturday)
